|What is the mission of your organization?||
We take dogs and cats from area shelters that are at risk of euthanasia. Our primary focus is helping those animals with medical or age related issues.
We also have a small program to help area pet owners who are at risk of needing to surrender their pets to local shelters due to a short term inability to provide basic needs for their pets. We are able to help as the resources are available.
|Which social causes (up to 3 choices) does your agency address through its programming? *||
|Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists?||
Young people are our future and we are thrilled that students are interested in learning about a dog and cat rescue.
|Does your organization have volunteer opportunities available for students? *||
Yes, Grades 6 – 12
|List possible volunteer opportunities -or- a link to where they can be found on the web.||
We can always use help at events. Dog walkers are always needed, and even people to play with cats/kittens.
