What is the mission of your organization? The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Council of Northern KY is a network of friends, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need. The most important part of our mission is to provide hope to those in need. One can survive without material goods, but when you have lost hope that tomorrow will be better than today, you have lost everything.

Sweet Dreams Bed Program
Many times during our Vincentian volunteers’ home visits, they find children and seniors sleeping in chairs or on the floor. The impact of those conditions is devastating on the lives of children and the elderly as evidenced by the loss of dignity and the loss of the opportunity to develop normally in mind and body. Through the generosity of donors and foundation funding, St. Vincent de Paul NKY provides a twin size bed to children under the age of 16, the disabled, and seniors age 65 and over who do not have the means to purchase a bed to sleep in.Summer Breeze Program
Many of our neighbors have to fight the heat of summer with no comfort of having a fan or air conditioner to help them. Cash donations made to St. Vincent de Paul NKY for this program are then used to purchase A/Cs and fans and are given to clients demonstrating a medical need for that assistance. Specific details on this program will be posted on this website from May through August.Coat Donation Program
With the assistance of Channel 5 and our other wonderful sponsors, every fall St. Vincent de Paul NKY promotes our coat donation program. The wonderful people of Northern Kentucky donate their gently used winter coats at one of our many drop-off locations. These coats are then distributed at our many distribution sites throughout Northern Kentucky. Specific details on this program will be posted on this website from September to December.Food From The Heart Program
With the assistance of The Kroger Company, Fox 19 TV and our other wonderful sponsors, St. Vincent de Paul NKY collects food gifts from our Northern Kentucky neighbors. This food is then given to those in need so they can enjoy a good Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. Specific details on the program will be posted on this website in November and December.Feed A Family Holiday Program
Through the generosity of NKY businesses and other donors, this program provides holiday meals to families in need during this special time of the year. Families and organizations can donate food items or make a monetary donation to the program.

Christmas Adopt-A-Family Program
Many generous NKY businesses and families participate in this Christmas program. St. Vincent de Paul of Northern Kentucky finds a family in need and the participating donor receives the satisfaction of knowing that they put a smile on a child’s face on Christmas morning. Specific details on this program will be posted on this website in November and December.

Medical Equipment Loan Closet
The purpose of the Medical Loan Closet is to provide temporary assistance to individuals in need of medical equipment when other sources are unavailable. A variety of donated items are offered at no cost for use during your home recovery. Items for loan are shower chairs/benches, transfer benches, walkers, walkers, bedside commodes, canes, toilet seat risers, and wheelchairs.
